Zeke's Island Cafe

Zeke’s is a locally owned, non-chain restaurant. It has a Caribbean theme to its food. The food is prepared fresh on-site throughout the day and is fabulous. Stu, the owner, has a daily hand in the operation keeping it true to its beginnings. A staple at Zeke’s are the tacos which come with a variety of meat fillings and can be customized to your level of heat/spice. The menu also offers a selection of bowls and plates with options for the sides. They also offer complete bar service.

Pork was very tender, and very flavorful. The food could of been a little hotter (temperature.) I did order it super spicy, to me was on the mild side. When I go again I will try it Ghost chili hot.

Zeke's never ever disappoints! If you have not tried them do yourself a favor and get over there and check them out! Their food has a awesome unique flavor I Haven't found anywhere else!

This place is pretty legit. The service was good and the food was interesting. The tacos are massive. Everything was a bit over-salted for me, but probably fine for the average person. I'll definitely be going back to try some more menu items.

We just used the party room and everything was great. The woman working the party was nice enough to take a group photo and get a ladder when we lost two of the balloons. The food is phenomenal and the room is perfect for everyone to spread out.

Great food, good prices and EXCELENT service. Abby was smart and helpful with my good allergies. $40 was lunch and soda for 3. For the quality of food, that was low. Fun sides. The chicken plate is my suggestion.

We enjoy hanging out. Last night we visited this magnificent place which friends recommended to us. We had a delightful time there with delicious dishes and a well-trained team and a distinguished cook. We added this restaurant in our phone list and we shall surely visit again soon. We warmly recommend.

Visited here for the first time for a Sunday luncheon with friends. The food and service were exceptional and we will most certainly be retuning soon. The smothered chips appetizer was awesome, as were the pulled pork and huli huli chicken entrées. The waitress was very attentive and had a great attitude, and the manager also stopped by to make sure we were doing well.

Have to say I wasn't super impressed with the food. The service was very accommodating for our large group, and they did a good job of getting everyone their food in a reasonable amount of time. There just isn't anything spectacular that makes me want to go back for more.

A bit dirty (sticky menu, sticky table) but the food was delicious and the server we had was very on top of her game. Its nothing like being in the carib, however there is something there. We will be back.

Awesome cooked to order island type menu. Hawaiian bbq/Asian fusion menu. Good service, lively music. Family friendly. Only drawback is there's no parking right at the building, but across the alley or street. Definitely worth the little walk!

We finally tried their food, tastes delicious. We probably will go back try different food.

Severely disappointed!! I ordered an entrée to be made mild and was given something covered in a sriracha sauce. Sent it back to be remade and got a “retaliatory” meal instead. By that I mean, the items and rice were thrown into the box and lacked any kind of care for what was done. Instead of sending a full meal back, which I had to wait almost an hour for, they only sent some rice and poorly made cakes.

Really enjoyed the food, and the service was wonderful as well. It's great to get some choices that aren't found on many (if any) other menus in the Quad Cities. And the staff will help you with a selection if you ask.

9.5 out 10 ⭐ Just moved to town and decided to try Zekes as a healthy food option and to celebrate our 4 year anniversary. (Fitting place as we got married in punta cana) Food was beyond AMAZING. I ordered the "Zeke's Aloha plate" which is easily in the top 10 best meals I've ever eaten in my entire life and that says a lot coming from someone who travels the country rating food on social media.My wife and I will be routine customers for life as the service, the food, the environment and overall amazing experience was second to none.Thank you for such an amazing experience!

This restaurant is my preferred one. I eat in many restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The crew is very welcoming and the cooking they place on your table is so tasty. I am always happy to have a good meal in this place. Highly recommended.

It was a cute place with lots of seating and looks like they have an outdoor patio that would be fun if it wasn't 30°! I had spicy fried shrimp on yellow rice with black beans as my side. It came with a fried egg roll that was very tasty and hot. The rice and the beans had really no flavor but they looked nice! I only ate about half of those and then all of the shrimp. It was an OK lunch for about 12 bucks. I would probably try something else next time. The wait staff is nice but I sat there for quite a while since the employees were talking but once I told them I was ready to order they were all over it. Overall decent.

We enjoyed our lunch at this Island cafe serving Pacific and Caribbean food. They were busy on a Saturday for lunch but our service was good and the food came quickly. Our orders were plentiful! Our 10YO was surprised by his pulled Pork tacos but he was a super duper trooper and ate quite a bit, although they were “nothing like Mexican tacos. “ My husband loved his Caribbean combo plate. The place was so clean and we loved the decor. I only gave it 4 stars b/c the music was so loud.
